Product introduction:
Glass grid is characterized by high tensile strength in axial and lateral directions, low elongation , alkaliresistance, high temperature-resistance, as well as
convenience in construction and low price. It can be used on pitch pavement, bituminous concrete pavement and cement pavement to prevent cracks occurring and prolong pavement service life. It also can be used as a basal reinforcement material for hill sides, reservoirs, harbors, ports, water channels, and sea walls.
Applications:
A. Reinforcement of roads and crack prevention.
B. Constructing new roads and repairing damaged sections of asphalt surfaces of roads, motorways, parking, airport surfaces and access ways.
C. Expanding thoroughfares and road lanes.
D. Asphalt reinforcing at locations subject to intensive vehicle braking or accelerating, important junctions, bus stops etc.
Advantages:
A. Fiberglass geogrid is a leading-edge reinforcement material in road construction.
B. It is composed of fiberglass filaments that are coated with an inorganic sizing agent. Possesses properties, such as high tensile strength in both warp and weft directions, low elongation, excellent temperature range, good anti-age and alkali-resistance.
C. It is extensively used in the reinforcement of asphalt pavement, concrete pavement and road-beds.
D. Compared to traditional materials, the use of fiberglass geogrid can reduce construction costs, extended service life of road and prevent deflection cracks.
E. It also can be used to reinforce road-beds in soft soil for railways, airfields, irrigation, channels and water dams.
F. Alkali resistant fiberglass mesh, chopped strand mat, knit mat, self-adhesive fiberglass tape and fiberglass insulating sleeve are all also available.
